Designed for use in high speed industrial disc and decanter centrifuges, it features dimensions of 6.150” in length x .330” in width. Material of construction was thin gauge (.048”) 316 stainless steel with a bright vacuum annealed finish, which allowed for good workability and produced an extremely clean part.
Production took place primarily on our punch presses and press brakes. CNC controls allowed us to uphold ±.005” dimensional and ±1.0° angular tolerances consistently over the entire run of 300 units. Secondary operations involved vibratory deburring and heat treatment to enhance its strength properties for continuous duty use. In-process and final dimensional inspection validated conformance with the customer specifications.
