Custom Fabrication of a Bracket for the Marine Industry

Constructed from .125” thick ASTM certified grade 5052-32 aluminum, chosen for it superior corrosion performance in the presence of salt spray, primary fabrication took place on our mechanical press brake to achieve adequate throughput rates at a high level of precision.

We used three different punch presses to form various component features, and our vibratory deburring equipment and TimeSaver belt sander all had a role in the production process.

When completed, the bracket featured overall dimensions of 10.375” in length x 3.875” in width x 5.100” in height. Multiple in-process and final dimensional inspections confirmed we upheld ±.005” tolerances on all 1500 units in the order. Our strong commitment to quality assures performance integrity on board commercial marine vessels.
