The depth of our experience was a big asset on this project. Based on our knowledge of this material’s behavior, we selected the right tools and developed process controls to manage the shearing, blanking, and forming operations while upholding the close ±.005” tolerance requirement.

Featuring finished dimensions of 3.27” in length x 1.6” in width x 0.175” in thickness, we manufactured 10,000 units without damaging or marring the surface coatings. Our material insight and operational flexibility allowed us to produce these high quality brake insulator systems for both OEM and aftermarket applications.
