Expedite Your Prototype Turnaround Time
We produced the stamped aluminum cover pictured here for a client in the electrical industry. Using only stock tools, we performed all blanking, piercing, and forming operations in a tightly controlled sequence of single-hits using our CNC controlled turret and press brakes.
Constructed from .062” thick brazing aluminum, these components featured finished dimensions of 3.5” in length x 3.080” in width x 1.785” in height.
The dynamics of our process produced consistent and accurate results with each press stroke, which allowed us to achieve critical +.003/-.000 tolerances. Finishing operations consisted of hand cleaning and drying of each of the 225 units in this order.
