HPL offers a unique metal fabricating service to further enhance our precision metal stamping capabilities. We have the experience and expertise to produce metal cabinets, chassis and countless other flat and formed sheet metal parts accurately and on time.
The key piece of equipment used in sheet metal fabrications is our hydraulic turret press. This machine uses a select variety of different tool sizes and styles to nibble and notch your parts out of a various sheet metal stock. The angle and position of the tool changes as it moves around the edge. The part's edge will have a slight "scalloped" look. These tiny points are formed where one hit transitions to another and after deburring, it's hardly perceivable
FINN - POWER TP300
HPL's ultrahigh speed (over 600 hits per minute) fully hydraulic CNC turret press equipment and CNC press brakes can produce quality stamped parts from prototype to production. The main advantages of the turret press is the low cost tooling and faster delivery even though it reflects a slightly higher piece part cost and, in most cases, less precision and accuracy than (die cut) Short run metal stampings. In general, custom fabrication is used on small single run jobs of not more than a few hundred pieces or for metal prototypes.
Ours is a complete service with in-house capabilities for welding, tapping, countersinking, insertion of stand-offs, nuts, spacers and even bench assembly. We also have time-tested relationships with finishing suppliers to satisfy your requirements for painting, plating, silk screening and other finishing methods.
