Our Process

The original concept of "short run stampings" involved a very special tooling process developed more than 65 years ago to produce high quality metal stampings with a specific pattern of routine operations, all designed to keep tooling costs at an absolute minimum. This set of processes is most effective in the quantity range of 25 to 25,000 pieces and is still used by us today, although it has become more sophisticated at HPL.

"Specialization and Standardization" Manufacturing Process |
Along the way, we have made over 178,423 customizable tooling components, all of which are in-stock and always available. Our unique "Specialization and Standardization" manufacturing process enables HPL to apply current technology to offer die cut parts from hard tooling with very high quality. Exact duplication is guaranteed from the first piece to the last.
HPL also stocks most common thicknesses and tempers of cold rolled steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, copper and many other materials.
Blend all this with our fabrication, contract manufacturing, assembly & secondary operations and the results are predictable and controlled costs.
In HPL's plant, everyone is conditioned to sudden changing demands. We understand that above all else, we must be flexible. |
