Our technical project team created a fabrication plan that specified numerous individual laser cutting, extruding, and forming operations for creating the exact geometries from .014” thick high strength, low alloy steel.
By paying close attention to detail and using the precise CNC controls on our lasers and forming equipment to their fullest capacity, our technicians were able to uphold tight ±.002” tolerances. Zinc plating followed by a clear trivalent chromate conversion made the parts immune to corrosion while maintaining industry standards for RoHS compliance.
The finished bracket measured 9.064” in length x 5.122” in width x 2.85” in height. Our quality assurance team conducted rigorous inspection to ensure the long-term performance of this bracket in a harsh operating environment. We shipped this order to the customer within a 4-5 week timeframe.
